In this film she is c. 40 years old & apparently dancing in England again; maybe living there as well.) MS Madame Karsavina sitting in study looking through some papers. MLS Madame Karsavina sits on bench in garden and examinies fabric samples while dressmaker waits for her approval. Madame Karsavina does "exercises for suppleness". This scene is unintentionally funny. She swivels to the rt. then the left, then leans over backward causing the hem of her garment, a cross between Grecian tunic & baby doll pyjamas, to rise to an almost inappropriate height. Then she starts lunging about and finally slinks off to the left while still leaning back in the opposite direction frozen in a contorted position.
