| Description: | THE SUPREME MODELLER A Worcester clergyman has built an intricate model of Wembley Stadium. Model of the Wembley Exhibition is contrasted with footage of the real thing. London Starts w/ footage of the real thing: wide shot of marching band in Wembley Stadium. Pan over stadium where the marchers are doing a rather complicated weaving formation; Huge crowd in stands. Worcester Then the model: shot of outside of stadium. Interior: tiny marchers slide along past model of crowded grandstand. MS a man and woman "backstage" controlling the miniature bands; they roll sticks, winding strings around them which pull the little people across; can see another person's arms doing same. A closer shot of the lines of "marchers" attached to strings moving across stadium. LS boy w/ bass drum stands at left while an old man and a young man carry a Victrola; this has something to do with the show as well. After this, another shot of the mini-stadium and another shot like the previous one, but another young man stands there next to another drum as if waiting to hit it. hobbies, crafts, miniatures, models | |
