London LS tilt down: Big dance number with dancers dressed as various types of toys, featuring Binnie Hale. Other dancers incl a bunch of tall guys in blackface and sort of doorman-type outfits, but with either weird hats or stuff that is supposed to represent hair sticking straight up! There's also a group of mechanical dolls which must be children because they are so small they almost really look like toys, a guy in a mouse costume with big head, etc. More and more "toys" show up until stage is almost filled with dancers. Dancers all strike pose at end w/ Hale on floor in front ctr, as curtains close. | |
