Sword of King Olaf 'leads' the procession of dignitaries through the ranks of solders and to Tynwald Hill, Peel. A thousand years old ceremony of reading a summary of the acts which have been past by the House of Keys in the last year is annually performed at Tynwald Hill. The Lieutenant Governor Sir Montague Butler is marching in the procession as well as other dignitaries, some wearing academic robes. Various shots of the procession and crowds watching it. Men on dais looking on while one of them reads the acts. After the ceremony men leave the dais. This time the sward goes last in procession. | |
