| Description: | The Los Angeles Dodgers (ex-Brooklyn bums) give the New York Yankees the bum's rush in the first two games of the world series. In the first game, left handed, Sandy Koufax sets a series mark as he strikes out 15 Yankees. With the New Yorkers' vaunted power throttled, the dodgers go on to the down the world champions 5 to 2. The second day is almost a replay of the first. Again, it's fine Dodger pitching and they, not the Yankees, are on top, 4 to 1, and lead the Yankees two games to none as they head for the west coast. Los Angeles, California Jammed packed baseball stadium. A film photographer with a huge 35mm camera recording the World Series. MOHS - Sandy Koufax is pitching the ball and Frank Howard from the Dodgers hits the ball for a double and it bounces off the wall in center field. MOHS - Ball is pitched and a Yankee manages to get a home run from his hit.The next day. Crowded stadium. MOHS - Dodgers hit the ball and score a homerun, leading 2 to 0. CUS - Baseball fans. The ball is pitched and it is hit by a Dodger. The Dodgeers at this point lead 2-games to 0. | |
