| Description: | THIS FREEDOM Dress freedom for women. One-Piece Built-in-Bra Dresses. Opens w/ shots of women in sports. WS girls' field hockey players running down the field, wearing short tunics over blouses. LS woman high jumper executing a jump. She wears simple sleeveless top and shorts and has a very short boyish hairdo. MS 2 young women in bedroom examining what title calls "a novel garment to give complete freedom - a combined skirt-bodice and brassiere all in one." One of the girls who's wearing a slip tries this thing on - it actually looks like another slip itself but maybe it is meant as outerwear. She turns round while her friend admires it. Cut to shot of the friend now stripping off a camisole which is worn over a slip and bra. Friend hands her another combination garment. This one has a heavier plaid skirt so it doesn't look like a slip. CU woman holds up a garment, turns top part inside out to show what is supposed to be a built-in-bra. The woman in this shot is already wearing one of these. MS woman puts on the dress. LS as her girlfriend watches she suddenly starts dancing wildly about the room, kicking higher than her head and then spinning around to demonstrate the ease of movement. Next, a series of shadows of women changing clothes - pretty racy to see women undressing onscreen even if only in silhouette. MLS 5 women each wearing a different style of these comfy 1-piece outfits. Another of these girls is suddenly taken w/ the mad desire to perform high kicks and does so. It seems as if an epidemic of St. Vitus' Dance has broken out but then unfortunately the story ends before total pandemonium results. | |
