Birdy is dressed all in white or a light color -- knit hat; sweater; just above knee length full fur-trimmed skirt; tights; & carrying a white lightweight umbrella; Woolworth building in BG in some shots. Shots from various angles & distances of Birdy on the tightrope 60 m above the ground: walking; balancing on one leg; pretending(?) to lose her balance; wobbling back & forth & almost falling to her death; then dancing. Finally a wide shot as she crosses the tightrope bouncing and doing high kicks! Insane. But lots of fun to watch. Although film's condition is not so great, subject is so good that it makes up for it. | |
