We pass underneath a branch which has a large nest hanging from it. C/U of the nest which is like a woven pouch. A bird's head pokes in and out - a tit-mouse. M/S of the tit beginning to build its nest. A pair of birds work together on the project. We see the intricate nest grow - it is a very beautiful construction. C/U of bird sitting on a branch and scratching itself by rubbing against the branch. The birds work together to pull pieces of branch off to make the fibres they need for their nest. Various C/Us and M/Ss of the birds constructing their home. L/S of the nest suspended from a tree swaying in the wind. C/U of one of the birds pulling at the fibres around the entrance to the nest and tucking them in so as to make a sturdy entrance. The bough bobs, the birds fly in and out. Tracking shot away from the nest earlier seen on the bank of the river. | |
