| Description: | Next, wide shot set w/ BG of faux marble walls, pillars, balcony; the Jack Buchanan and June, in different costumes, perform short dance, then sit down. MS they sit side by side, she looks earnest, he looks nervous; she keeps scooting closer and he keeps scooting away. Next, a comic scene w/ Buchanan(?) and a bunch of soldiers. They hear noise and open door in time to see him climbing over balcony; he enters and is sort of pursued back and forth by them, but seems to make peace because a toast is proposed and glasses handed around. Buchanan goes down the row drinking from each soldier's glass! Soldiers all leave, Buchanan grabs huge goblet or bowl on table and exits. LS B. enters another room, now wearing a uniform, still carrying the goblet; he is drunk. He aims for the door but w/ a little staggering, he breaks into a dance. Unfortunately we don't get to find out what happens next. | |
