	Description:	Austrian peace treaty brought the withdrawal of soviet troops, and the return of p.O.W.'S from years of red slavery. Scenes of tearful, joyous reunion ushered in a new era for austria. After 26 years of foreign rule under Hitler and later 4-power occupation freedom came to Austria. One of the heart warming results was Russia's return of prisoners. This give some people the eternal hope that the cold-war might end. Establishing shot - Prisoners returned back to Austria. MS - Fathers, uncles, cousins reunited with family. CUS - Woman crying.
