Ryun wins in Mile in three minutes, fifty-eight and six-tenths seconds, his fourth under four minutes mile his fourth this year. In side the sports arena throngs packed in. Dave Patrick of Fillanova Flats is spearheading the race. MS - Ryun finished 12-yards ahead of Dave Patrick Dave Patrick of Villanova is leading Jim Ryun in the NCAA championship. MS - Dave Patrick keeps pouring it on holding on to first place. Cave sets a new world's record of 1-minute, 48 & 9/10th seconds. He finished some 12-yards behind Dave Patrick of Villanova Flats.
