| Description: | Trailer: CARE OF CLOTHES Discarding of clothes carelessly affects the war. Make Do and Mend. "Sabotage" Lurid title comes up over a domestic scene as a man comes in and carelessly throws down his wet coat and shoes. Man discarding clothes, which he throws down carelessly. Shoes crumpled. Tattered jacket. The chastizing narrator urges him and all to take care of clothing to conserve for the war effort. A woman puts on her stocking the wrong way, and a hideous run ensues; then magically the stocking rolls itself up her leg. A soldier standing guard has his coat disappear, and a pilot's helmet vanishes from his head as he prepares for a flight to his evident consternation, showing the importance of personal clothing. "Your clothes are materials of war. Take care of them," say the closing titles. | |
