They eat scraps from a dish, and a hen goes off to complain about the quality of the food. The farmer apologizes and sends her to his grain merchant, who addresses the chicken, now wearing apron and bonnet. CU hen riding in railroad car. Government official explains program to recycle scraps for chicken feed, and the hen leaves an egg in gratitude on his desk. | |
