Doll made out of coupons floats out of the room before her eyes, and is superimposed over rain puddles, lightning bolts, other foul weather scenes. Make Do and Mend. CU A sheet of clothing coupons. MS a young woman in work clothes looks at her coupons. Cut to MS of the woman looks as she examines clothes from her wardrobe. Various shots as she is seen brushing, sewing and mending and ironing her clothes. Voice-over 'save your coupons for an emergency'. She puts them neatly away and looks at her coupons. CU the coupon sheet spins and turns into a dress on a clothes peg doll. The woman watches as the doll flies out of her room. The doll flies down a street. Voice-over: 'Don't buy flimsy clothes'. Various shots as the doll stands in a puddle, in the branches of a tree, in a thunderstorm and next to a snowy mountain in the wind. Voice-over: 'Buy to last and for all weathers.
