New York, NY This trial moving sidewalk seems to be constructed in a big empty area. The wooden sidewalk has 4 different lanes, rather like a freeway: the first is stationary; the 2nd moves slowly; the 3rd at medium speed; and the 4th is the fast lane which has a row of benches. A column of men in business suits and hats step onto the "Travolator" which is moving toward camera; they walk across the various-speeded lanes and take seats on the fast lane benches. Knee-level MS from behind man's legs as he steps onto the moving sidewalk; we see other men follow. High ang shot of several men relaxing on the benches as they go whizzing round a curve. | |
