Snicker if you will (and well you should), for this dated film acts like a return to McCarthy-era tactics in confidentially outing your loose partners for the embetterment of society. MS's of a doctor and a male gonorrhea patient sitting in an office and talking about the disease. Same with a young woman (also suffering from gonorrhea) talking to her doctor. MS's of the rather stuffy gonorrhea girl walking from the office, along the streets and past people and a classic telephone booth.......... MS's of the male gonorrhea patient entering his girlfriend's home; he flips through magazines while she makes him a cup of coffee (great shot of her in the slim kitchen); they chat about gonorrhea (they both have it) (funny shot of him trying to tell her about his illness - he sits staring at her moment before being able to speak, funny acting. overdramatic.) . Drama, kids, drama.......... CU of the gonorrhea girl in the telephone booth, dropping in a nickel and placing her call on the rotary phone. MS of her doctor in her office; she answers the phone.......... MS of a traveling business man exiting his motel room and placing his luggage in his car. CU of a young woman brushing her hair; she exits motel room and gets into car with the man. MS of the businessman with his feet on his desk, talking and yawning into a telephone. MS's and CU's of the businessman and his doctor talking about VD. Mucho drama.......... great traveling LS along a glitzy neon downtown strip at night, past movie theaters, restaurants and shops. MS of a young man and two young women standing outside a porno theater (a sign behind them reads SHAMELESS SEX and other renowned porn catchphrases); a convertible driven by another young man pulls up and they get in. And off they go into an alley to make out. MS's and CU's of them kissing and getting hot and heavy. Ah, sweet charming youth. CU's of one of the girls at her doctor's office, talking VD.......... CU of sign: SPECIAL TREATMENT CLINIC. MS's of the young man from earlier in the film entering clinic room, taking a seat. CU of magazine as he flips through it.
