| Description: | Six persons are killed and twelve injured in a Las Vegas motel explosion, set off by a man committing suicide. The blast occurred while most of the guests were asleep. Damage was estimated at 200 thousand dollars in one of the strangest stories ever to come out of Las Vegas. Street scene circa 1967, light traffic on the strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. MS - Exterior of the motel room completely in shambles due to an intentional dynamite explosion set off by a man who committed suicide. High Angle Shot - A policeman standing in a motel room completely blown to smithereens exposing the fragments of building material. MS - The bathroom, the bathtub with ceiling pieces that have fallen into the bathtub, the surrounding floor around the tub is gone. Exterior shot - Motel units that are still in tact and the unit that is the scene of the crime.. CU - Marquee sign, "We Honor All Credit Cards - Relax in Comfort". MS - Parking lot of the motel, damaged units, cars parked in the lot with debris of the motel complex strewn all over the place pieces and fragments of the motel building material laying on top of the roofs of the cars. | |
