| Description: | 10:00:31:- MS of Mike Lukas (TV host and comedian) and Henry the horse standing at a wood fence at Friendly Farm, a livestock farm in Illinois. One of the farmhands places peanut butter on the roof of Henry's mouth so the Mike and crew can do a talking horse segment a la Mr. Ed or Francis the Talking Mule. Mike plays the ruse, egging the "conversation" on. Silly. 10:01:39:- CU of a wild turkey wandering the grounds of the farm. 10:01:48:- More of Mike and Henry the "talking" horse, shot from a less interesting angle, but better reactions from Mike and more of the horse's mouth. 10:03:07:- CU of the wild turkey again, this time by a wire fence; level travelling shot with the turkey as it meanders (turkey cam?). Some great CU's of the turkey's gnarled (wrinkled) face. 10:04:45:- High angle MS of Babe, a light-haired piglet. Cute lil' thing. Mike talks to the pig. CU of Babe eating apple slices. 10:06:28:- CU of a rooster inside a barn. Interesting colors (red, black, orange, brown, tan) and feather pattern, as well as plummage (or crest, which resembles an afro). A farmhand picks him up and lets the cock rest in his hand. He then takes his thumb and index finger and makes a straight line motion from the cock's beak to several inches away, repeating the motion unitl the rooster is more or less hypnotized, sedate. This is how many magicians "hypnotize" chickens. Later another farmer does the same thing with the same rooster as the former farmer (make sense?) hypnotizes a white-feathered hen. Good CU's as well. The trick really works. CU as the younger farmer does the trick on another rooster, this one much familar looking (small red crest and gamehen feathering). 10:16:28:- MS's of several large hogs in a muddy pigpen as Mike chastizes them about what a "pigsty" it is. CU's of their faces as they revel in the dirt and mud. 10:18:43:- MS's and CU's of several ducks and geese in a wire fence. NOTE: AUDIO CHANNEL ONE IS BLOWN OUT FROM THE 10:18:43:- EDIT DUE TO MECHANICAL FAILURE DURING PRODUCTION. AUDIO CHANNEL TWO FEATURES SOME AMBIENT NOISE. THE IMAGE IS PERFECTLY FINE, THOUGH. More CU's of the wild turkey. 10:21:53:- MS's and CU's of many lambs and sheep gathered during feeding time. They run free on the farm as they are easier to gather than any other animal there. | |
