| Description: | 18:14:50:- MS's and tight LS's of Mike Lukas (TV Host) and the Diamond Toothpick Factory's PR man walking around the raw lumber grounds of the factory (outdoors, of course). Funny MS, zoom out, of Mike walking atop a huge pile of sawed lumber and surveying the land, then trusting his arms into the air victoriously a la "Rocky". Panning LS's of the area. Cut to MS's of the bolt chain operator rolling long logs from a pile and into the bolt chain mechanism (a pulley that drags the logs into the factory). Cut to good shots of Mike posing before a huge pile of cut timber outside the factory. Cut to MS outside the factory as Mike and PR man walk through the grounds and into the factory; the camera crew follows behind as they walk through alleys of timber waiting extradition, then into the factory. Note: The PR man gives a procedural description that eventually gets drowned out by industrial noise inside the factory. Great MS';s and CU's of a machine that debarks raw timber (spins and strips the log of its bark). Cut to MS's of logs going through a large saw, then passed along a conveyor belt to the next operational step (excellent CU's of the saw in action). Cut to MS's and CU's of stripped and sawed logs being taken off the conveyor belt and placed onto a large dolly. Cut to MS's and CU's of stripped and sawed logs being rolled in an industrial spinner which turns the wood into plywood (great shots of the plywood rolling from the machine in long sheets). Cut to MS's and CU's of plywood sheets rolling from a machine that spins it into small rolls of plywood. Cut to shots of tongue depressors and cotton swabs rolling from machines and onto a conveyor belt that deposits the product into a hole. | |
