M/S Miss Beatrice Lillie is wearing a stunning traditional wedding dress. She exits a large doorway, aided by a gentlemen in full military uniform, other members of the wedding party are also present. They are all suitably dressed for the occasion wearing a variety of hats. One women has a particularly large beaded necklace around her neck whilst she carries a small bouquet of flowers. L/S nice footage of large stately home and surrounding gardens. The military gentlemen walks with a smartly dressed friend down the steps to the side of the house that leads to the garden. As they walk towards us, the camera pans right to reveal the full splendour of the house. One of the gentlemen appears to be smoking a cigar or cigarette. M/S Crowds gather as the bride arrives at the church, she is accompanied by an elderly man (presumably her father), and is followed by two bridesmaids both carrying large bouquets of flowers. In the background we can see various of the onlookers including numerous children and people wearing a variety of hats. A gentlemen can also be seen appearing to re-load a camera. M/S There is much excitement and activity among the waiting crowd as the bride exits the church with her new husband (Robert Peel). Members of the crowd and cameramen jostle for the best views of the newly weds. Crowd members shower the couple with confetti. M/S We are treated to some nice footage of the married couple and various family members in position for the wedding photographs. The bride is holding a large bouquet of flowers while a smartly dressed page boy stands in front. The families appear to share jokes as they smile and laugh, there is a feeling of much jollity. | |
