| Description: | MASTERED TO WPA # 923................................................... ALSO ON PREVIEW CASSETTE #991333 This infomercial/industrial film for the Accolateral filing systems takes place in a white walled TV studio. It opens with a montage of an office and its employees who are slacking off (talking on phones, daydreaming, watching the clock, etc.). It becomes 5 pm, they dash from their desks, and head for a wood armoire that contains their coats which they take and exit promptly stage left. Following this scene life becomes more ordinary as we see (still in the lighting studio): 2 women filing on the Accolateral system (uses jump cuts as well to show time management and cost effectiveness) ... LS of a woman filing at a traditional filing cabinet; she walks off-screen yet half of her phantasmagorically remains at the filing cabinet ... MS of paper piling up (stop-motion photography) against a black BG ... lots of simulated offices and filing clerks milling about in them ... CU of a traditional stop-watch ... Cu of a woman typing on a typewriter. These are just a few of the shots in this quirky diorama of office life, a life narrated by a savvy pitch salesman inclined to point out the marginal benefits of the Accolateral suspended filing system. | |
