| Description: | WHAT HAPPENS NEXT #10 Safety and other issues, designed to invoke the imagination of the viewer (this is an educational series of shorts for schoolchildren in the late 1940s/1950s): A young boy and his dog admire windows of travel agent, then stow away on board ship. A small boy trailing a scruffy little dog on a string looks in the shop window of a travel agent. There is a large model of cruise ship and many photographs of mountains and skiers in the snow. Signs in the window display the words Canada and Switzerland. Cut to a real ship in dock. The boy looks at it wistfully. His dog runs off towards the ship and he chases after it. He catches it and the two companions walk across the gangplank on board the ship. The boy cautiously looks around and stares up at the ships mast. The boy tiptoes around the deck looking for a place to hide. He chooses a small rowing boat on deck and covers himself and his dog inside under a tarpaulin. CU the dog's face. CU the boy in his school cap peeping over the tarpaulin. CU the feet of someone coming towards them... End title: "What do you think happens next? | |
