| Description: | WHAT HAPPENS NEXT #3 Safety and other issues, designed to invoke the imagination of the viewer (this is an educational series of shorts for schoolchildren in the late 1940s/1950s): A small pebble beach with a fisherman and boats. Two children carrying a fishing rod speak to the fisherman. He helps them push a small rowing boat out to sea. They wave each other goodbye. The boy rows and rows. His sister points to a buoy ahead. The boy stands in the boat and tries to hit it with his oar. The oar falls into the water. The boy uses the remaining oar and leans out of the boat to try and catch the first. He drops that oar too. The girl is very alarmed. The children look around them. They are way out to sea and now have no oars. They frantically wave and shout for help... End title: "What do you think happens next? | |
