| Description: | WHAT HAPPENS NEXT #8 Safety and other issues, designed to invoke the imagination of the viewer (this is an educational series of shorts for schoolchildren in the late 1940s/1950s): A mother and daughter are packing a suitcase in their living room. The father enters with a golf club and more things to pack. The girl makes address labels which she carefully glues onto the cases. The family dog watches them. They gather up their holiday luggage and coats and prepare to leave. The little girl puts the dog on the lead and walks out the front door and down their terraced street. She knock on the door of a neighbours house. A woman answers the door and the little girl pats the dog goodbye as the woman takes it inside. The girl runs back towards her home and gets into her parents car which is waiting outside. The dog watches through the neighbours window. The window is open, so the dog jumps out and runs after the car as it disappears down the street... End title: "What do you think happens next? | |
