| Description: | WHEELER AND WILSON comic sketch with the comedians Wheeler and Wilson. Popular pair of comedians. L/S's of man walking onto set dressed as a sailor he confronts a man dressed as a porter. The sailor who is quite an aggressive character tells the porter to get rid off the dead mouse under his nose, referring to the large bushy moustache he has. The porter retaliates by calling the sailor a moth-hole. The sailor asks, "What's a moth-hole" to which the porter replies "Nothing with a piece of cloth round it!" The porter then points to the strange bird the sailor is carrying in his bird cage. A C/U reveals that it is a bottle of spirits. The sailor says that it is a swallow, to which porter replies "I bet he's full of spirit !". The pair argue and joke their way through the conversation. They then start placing bets on correctly answering each other very silly conundrums. The comic sketch ends with the porter telling the sailor that he'd like to join the navy before they walk off screen together. | |
