The teams march about carrying flags and wearing fairly old fashioned beach wear (fashion, swimwear, bathing suits), especially the horizontally-striped ones. Shots of beach rescue competition. The life guards run out down the beach. Good shots of life guards paying out rope over their heads. Shots of life guards rowing small boats out through waves. They then speed back in to shore. Swimmers race down beach and dive into the surf to start sea swimming contest. The winner comes in and runs up the beach.
