C/U of Bert and Rose Mathews, who are dressed as the Pearly King and Queen, they are the daughter and son in law of the real Pearly King and Queen. M/S as the girls are helped down from the carriage by two men and a woman. M/S of the girls stood with Rose and Bert. M/S of 9 year old Ruth Thomas with her donkey 'Whacko' in the paddock, she puts on her hat and starts to lead the donkey out. M/S of the donkeys being led in a line by their jockeys.
