| Description: | Wonderful engineering feat. 1300 ton cargo steamer "Richard Welford" which capsized and sunk at quayside, raised in 3 hours. Newcastle, Tyne and Wear. M/S of the liner on its side, water is pumped from the front and side. M/S of the pumps. 'Mighty pumps emptied her of water at the rate of 2800 tons per hour.'
