| Description: | Chicago and the entire Midwest is belted by a blizzard which dumps two feet of snow on the windy city. Sixty-eight deaths are traced to the storm, ten thousand vehicles are abandoned, train and airline operations halted, and widespread looting and fires developed. Establish shot - Lots of snow, piles of snow on the streets, the traffic is moving very slowly. High Angle Shot - Grid lock traffic on the expressway, car is stalled and covered with snow and set off to the side of the road. MS - Two women and a man shoveling snow off their side walk as the snow keeps falling. MS - A car that is parked on the side street, and a man removing the snow off his car with a shovel. Aerial shot - Abandoned cars left on the street because they stopped running, because of the depth of the snow and the amount of the snow that has fallen in a short amount of time. Aerial shot - Stalled cars and trucks on the highway. MS - A fire department helicopter landing bringing in much needed supplies. MS - A parked car surrounded by high packed snow. | |
