VS In one of their rooms a WRAC (Women's Royal Army Corps) puts on her beret while seated at dressing table in front of a mirror. MS Toy bunny and other knickknacks around the room. Another woman (roommate) makes her bed in uniform. In the rooms are a large wooden wardrobe and two nice beds which have scatter cushions to imitate a couch. VS Women cooks at work in the kitchen. MS WRAC officer inspecting the food in warmers. VS In dining hall the WRACs help themselves to food from the hot-plate as the chefs look on. CU serving trays in the cafeteria. MS a woman ladling soup into a bowl. VS WRAC seating in dining hall, eating a meal. VS WRACs modern hair salon in the barracks. Hairdressers perm the WRAC's hair. The salon has all of the modern facilities. VS The girls relax in small room and write letters. MS In the NAAFI (Navy Army and Air Force Institutes) shop the girls buy stockings, books, and other necessities (gift shop, commissary). CU WRAC in cab of lorry (truck)while driving along (behind the wheel, in the driver's seat). VS WRAC's being kitted out (provided) with uniforms.
