Many Baby Boomers challenged social conventions as they grew to young adulthood. The long-haired hippie has become an icon of this turbulent era. WPA’s 1960s material features important issues, colorful characters and fabulous fashions.

Hippie Happening: As the counterculture pushed back constraints and boundaries, some activities defied categorization. This “happening” was one unusual experiment.
