CHICAGO (January 9, 2006) — CHICAGO, IL –
The WPA Film Library has announced it will represent footage from
several large format films. Originally shot in 70mm for viewing in
Giant Screen theaters, the material is now available as stock
footage in both high definition and standard definition. The company
says that the deal “expands WPA’s offerings for exquisite
contemporary imagery” and that more HD footage was a strategic
addition to its growing collection. Subject matter includes diverse
natural landscapes from Arctic tundra to pastoral French countryside
to the American West; and land & marine wildlife, including elephant
seals, whales, terns, eels, reindeer, and caribou.
