"The pre-vocational program at Aneth Community School in Utah is a prime example of a regular program and Title 1 working together. It ws begun in 1965 andwas desin=gned to serve the needs of older elementary level students--young Navajo adults between the ages of 13 and 21 who are uneducated or Undereducated. the program classes are departmental and include oral english, science, social studies, math, reading, home economics and shop. While the emphasis is oncareer development, career counseling and the "wrld of work".
