Class room Marti Institute Adult class (17.00), Portrait of Marti/Bust of Marti (18:27), Ext Institute (20:47) 00:00:21:- CU interview with Cintio Vitier, an older man in his sixties or seventies, wearing a gray tweed suit. Unsure as to who or what his position is but assuming the material is so close to the Marti Institute material one can only assume he is either teacher or administration. Seems to be talking about history, relations between the United States and Cuba. NEEDS TRANSLATION AS IT IS IN SPANISH. 00:16:59:- Tight LS inside a classrom of the Marti Institute, facing a long desk at which a female teacher sepeaks to the room of adults (their backs are to the camera). MS of the teachers seated and talking; she has several books and notebooks placed before her, as well as a glass of water and a microphone. Over the shoulder CU of a woman writing in a notebook (taking notes, as the kids say). 00:18:26:- CU's of a rather Warhol-esque portrait of Marti; very colorful, playful, almost impressionist. CU, sideview, of a stone bust of Jose Marti; more CU's, some with zoom ins. 00:20:44:- Establishing shot, exterior of the Marti Institute, including ornate steel and brick wall and gate as people walk by it, into it; zoom in to CU of a sign on the gate that reads, "Centro de Estudios Martianos"
