Lunakhod lands on the moon's surface - all exterior shots of Lunakhod are of a model of the lunar rover on a fake lunar surface - these effects are about as good as those of cheap 50s/60s sci-fi, meanwhile this mock set up is interspersed with footage of Soviet scientist & engineers in a control room where the real lunakhod is controlled and photographic relays are viewed on a tv screen, from a tv image we see the surface of the moon. Rover rolls from lander. Rover opens solar battery supply.
