Nature's Rampage: 224 Die in Tornadoes; Airlift Feeds Cattle. At latest count, 223 persons lost their lives and over one thousand were hurt, in wake of sudden tornado that lashed wide areas in the South. Hardest hit is Judsonia, a small town in Arkansas, where devastation looks like place had been leveled by atom bomb. Lots of twisted wreckage - hard to tell what some of it was. Car buried under piles of bricks. Woman searches the remains of a house. People come up from an underground storm cellar. Bank vault, still standing, though the bank around it has been destroyed. Disaster relief station set up in church. In other disaster news, snow has blanketed cattle ranges in Montana and Nevada. Hay is loaded onto planes, then flown and thrown overboard to (presumably) the animals in the snowy land below. Cows eat hay.
