Dull in contrast and imagery Official films lift the shroud of secrecy surrounding america's newest anti-aircraft guided missile, the Nike, named for the Greek goddess of victory. Spectacular scenes show the Nike unerringly tracking a remote-controlled flying fortress, and shattering the huge bomber in an awesome mid-air blast. Establishing shot - The Nike missile loaded on to an Army truck, trailer. CUS - Two Army men attached the two sections of missile together, the last pin is pulled and it ready for its tracking mission. CUS - The Nike is on it launching pad ready to take off. CUS - An operations officer looking at a very confusing rocket launching panel. CUS - Two officers have their headsets on as the seconds tick away. CUS - The verbal count down is taking place, "7 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1, Fire!". CUS - Of the Army officer's hand clicking the switch. MLS - The missile taking off. CUS - Department of Defense, camera record these weapons that track down aircraft.
