The weapon shoots out fuel with flame riding on it. It looks like a laser weapon of some sort. Establishing shot - US soldier standing with a flame-thrower. CUS - Soldier is kneeling on the ground with the flame-thrower in his arms. CUS - Your looking down the barrels of the flame-thrower.
