DO NOT SELL ON PREVIEW TAPE # 991537 - i Film opens with Deputy Dawg taking an afternoon siesta inside the jailhouse until the telephone rings. The Dawg is so lazy he doesn't even get up to answer it, instead uses a lasso to bring the receiver to him. On the other end is the Sheriff who lets Dawg know about a problem he needs help with. It seems that a baby whooping crane has taken affection to the sheriif, mistaking him for his mommy, but the sheriff doesn't want the adorable bugger named Whooper around. It becomes the Dawg's perogative to return Whooper to his rightful momma but no matter how hard Dawg tries, the whooper goes right back to the sheriff who gets angrier every time the lil' whooping crane returns. Eventually the Dwg takes Whooper in as his own.
