Korea: Truce Future Bright As Rockets Hit Reds Man wipes clean the front plates on a large searchlight. Large balloon floats over the landscape. VS American soldiers who have been wounded (according to VO) when one of these gas-filled balloons exploded; the soldiers are sitting on the ground looking kind of angry or cynical (one soldier, smoking a cigarette with an injured hand, evokes J. Dean). Wounded man on stretcher is prepared for loading onto rescue helicopter; helicopter takes off. VS United Nations troops prepare rocket launchers. Several rocket launchers release a barrage, fire flashing as each one flies. Night scenes, rockets keep firing, lighting the world around them, sometimes making visible soldiers in silhouette in foreground. All this is fairly dramatic visually for Korean War battle footage.
