CU Baltimore mayor William Donald Schaefer walking up to microphones. I don t know if it s true or not, but if it is I m trying to retain what little dignity I have left in this matter. And second, if the Colts had to sneak out of town at night, it degrades a great tradition in the city of football.

Interview with Rep. Barbara Mikulski. You know when sports teams leave they leave behind broken hearts, empty stadiums, and usually big debts. What it meant from a financial perspective was that the state economy lost $35 million in revenues, and everything from selling beer to t-shirts, and a variety of other things. It was an economic loss.

Interview with Rep. Barbara Mikulski where she thinks owners are asking too much of the city. Cities are trying to renew themselves. We need to spend $30 million dollars on schools, not fancy stadiums. We need housing for the elderly, not skyboxes for the rich. And then I think that if we re going to get into that then there ought to be user fees from the owners. And they re holding us hostage. And great mayors of great cities, whether it s the Feinsteins, or the Goodes, or the Schaefers. And most of all, though, they re holding the fans hostage.
