The first train load of prisoners of war arrive in Germany, just over the border of the Iron Curtain. Many of the dispatch of 700 men have been in Russian hands for more than 10 years. The Russian promised to repatriate 10,000. These are the only ones so far released. Establishing shot - A train pulling box cars loaded to the top with German citizens released from Russian prisons.
